Alice Ella is really funny, extremely talented, and is not writing this about herself.
Having had a sort of successful career as a ‘serious’ singer … (see the ‘singer’ tab) Alice has recently found her voice singing about more important and relatable every day problems. Her songs include topics like periods, fatigue, depression and explosive diarrhoea.
A disability advocate, and on a mission to increase awareness and understanding of chronic and invisible illnesses, she uses her social media platform to create empowering and humorous content and isn't afraid of saying it how it really is.
Known for her witty song parodies and original comedy songs, she proudly sings openly about the ups and downs of her daily life battling with multiple chronic illnesses, and shares important messages about things like; ambulatory wheelchair users, disabled body confidence, women’s health, mental health, IBS, self love, and getting a fringe.
Alice performs her songs at standup comedy shows, and cabaret events, and with countless viral posts, millions of views on social media, and millions of streams on Spotify, she hopes to continue to raise awareness, and make people who are struggling feel less alone.
Sense Awards 'Influencer of the Year 2022 runner up, Alice’s image titled 'Body Confidence taken by photographer Nirish Shakya, was one of the Portrait of Britain 2023 winners, which was shown on billboards across the UK, (I know right?!)
Alice loves collaborating with brands, especially those that help with physical and mental health, female empowerment, and that embrace a diverse range of body types.
She has featured in many news articles including BBC, ITV, The Independent & The Metro, and has performed twice, live on Channel 4s' 'The Last Leg'.
Alice also had a featured date on Channel 4's 'First Dates', where she opened up about her illness to an international audience of millions.
She also has an Etsy shop where she sells her illustrations, merchandise, and Disco Walking Sticks & Crutches. She also often fundraises for ME charities.
