OLD SHIT MUSIC

Alice Ella is also known for her singing and songwriting.

Before Alice embraced the chaotic joy of comedy, she spent years being a very serious singer and songwriter.

She racked up over 2.5 million Spotify streams, crowdfunded her debut single Summer Sun on Kickstarter, and even had it featured in a Roland/Boss advert for their vocal pedal (because nothing says “artistic integrity” like being the soundtrack to someone demonstrating a knob).

Two more singles followed - 24 Obsession and Somewhere Else -  both celebrated with sold‑out headline shows in London. Smashed it.

Her tracks have been played on radio across the UK, Australia, and BBC stations including BBC Introducing, which is basically the musical equivalent of being knighted by a big shiny ceremonial sword. Cool.

The singing voice of the McDonald’s advert across the USA (yep, the ‘ba-da-ba-ba-baaaa’? That’s her), she starred in a Yamaha advert, and sang the iconic “Give a Bit of Mm to Me” in the 2020 Kinder Bueno advert. A legacy.

Alice also lent her vocals to the feature film Grand Piano starring Elijah Wood & John Cusack, and her originals and covers have popped up on TV shows including Love Island UK, AUS, and USA — meaning her voice has been heard during at least three separate slow‑motion make‑outs. Hot.

She duetted with Emeli Sandé for the 2012 Brit Awards campaign and was later booked as the opening act for Jessie J.

As a songwriter, she’s penned and featured on tracks including My Air (Deborah Cox & Offer Nissim), Feel So Good (Navarra), River (Jenaux ft. Laura White), Not Meant To Be (Max Oazo), Let You Go (Angie Vu Ha), and Resurrection (Ironik). She is, allegedly, still working on her debut album - only now, it’s likely to be about cats, hormones, doing the laundry, vulvas and depression. And cats.
